This chapter talks alot about design elements for interactive medium. I'd like to note that many design elements such as texture, size, or even time carry over from non-interactive mediums such as a newspaper or television news headline scrollers.

The Poka-Yoke Principle on page 57 is also pretty interesting. I've seen many examples of this in computer hardware like the book illustrates. The idea also seems to be present in software such as Pro Tools or Final Cut, as when dragging filters to video files or configuring I/O settings. If it doesn't look like it will work, then the user probably won't get it completely fouled up.

I like the seemingly ominous, yet vague "interactions happen over time" on page 48.
